Poliicies

Credit
Our terms are strictly net fifteen days from date of invoice.

"Questions or discrepancies with CII invoices must be addressed at least two weeks after receipt. CII will not be responsible for disputes raised after this point."

Conditions of Carriage
Please refer to the reverse side of our CII waybill for terms and conditions of carriage.

Collections on Behalf
Our policy is very simple. We offer this service to all destinations: we serve as per our monthly schedule. LHR, TYO, AKL, SYD, BNE and MEL. Our charge is minimum $10.00 or 7.5% of the amount invoiced to CII to be collected. No breakbulk will be charged. The service operates in the following manner.

(1) A commercial invoice must be raised to CII LAX, debiting us with the amount you wish collected.
(2) The collect amount must match the charges as they appear on your HAWB.
(3) We have the ability to either swap checks or offset against what is owed, whichever is most convenient.

For other destinations, you can deal with confidence directly with our agents. Each destination agent has been carefully screened and handpicked for their quality of service and high integrity. We would be happy to introduce you to our overseas strategic partners.

Reweighing and Redimming of Freight
All shipments tendered are checked, weighed and dimmed. Should there be any variances we will call or fax you immediately as a courtesy.

Claims
WE WILL NOT RECOGNIZE ANY VALUE CLAIM UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY A SURVEY REPORT FROM AN APPROVED MARINE INSURANCE ASSESSOR. We all know that in the world of international air freight, there are shippers/consignees, admittedly small in number but still serious thorns in the side of honest forwarders and agents, who take unalloyed delight in unfortunate situations. If these people are really serious about our business, they must realize that full, all-risks insurance is a prerequisite to conducting an international transportation operation. If they prefer to underwrite the risk themselves without the services of an insurance company, then the shipper/consignee ultimately must accept full responsibility in the case of their shipments arriving in less than perfect condition.

Storage
Any freight either import or export is subject to storage charges after 5 working days after receiving in our facility. Any storage charges received from other truckers, airlines or warehouses will be passed along.
